How to...arrange icons on desktop

1. Right click anywhere on the desktop.
2. Left click on Arrange icons by...
3. You will see a list of name, size, type, modified, auto arrange, align to grid.
4. If you want them automatically arranged in straight rows, click on auto arrange.
5. If you want to arrange them yourself but have them lined up to grids, click on align to grid.
6. If you want to arrange them yourself, unclick on auto arrange and unclick align to grid and just drag them wherever you want them.
